How these guides are made
Intel is Modern Protocol's library of strength training guides. This page says who is behind them, how they are produced, including where AI is used, and what we do to keep them accurate.
Who is responsible
The guides are published under the name of Jordan Hoppel, a strength coach with 17 years of experience. He is responsible for what appears on the site.
How a guide is made
- Research and first drafts are AI-assisted. AI tools help gather information, outline and draft. We say so plainly, here and at the foot of every guide.
- Numbers are recalculated. Every figure, table and chart is recomputed from the formula or source it comes from, not copied.
- Factual claims are tied to sources. When a guide relies on research, the sources are listed at the bottom. Nutrition, supplement and recovery guides must list sources before they are published.
- No invented data. We do not make up statistics, studies, quotes or client stories.
- Training information, not medical advice. If you have a health condition or take medication, talk to your doctor first.
Updates and corrections
Guides show the date they were published and the date of any substantive update. If you find an error, email support@modernprotocol.io and we will check it and correct it.
Why we publish these
To give lifters clear, accurate answers and to help them train. Modern Protocol is a business with a training app, and a guide may link to the app where it is relevant. That relationship is disclosed here.
